The Working Group on Aluminium (WGA) cochaired by Innovation, Science and Economic Development the Department of Finance Canada and the Aluminium Association of Canada held its first meeting on Friday, April 13, in Ottawa. Both industry and government are well aligned and cooperating on border protection against unwanted metal imports in circumvention of North American trade rules.
