Investigation on aluminium overcapacity and US national security implications: The Canadian industry is part of the solution.

Montreal, April 27, 2017 – According to Jean Simard, President and CEO of the Aluminium Association of Canada, the Canadian aluminium industry is confident that American authorities will appreciate the full value of Canada’s aluminium supply, as shared by its transport, aerospace and national defense industries.

Our industry has been supplying high quality responsibly produced, low carbon aluminium at a competitive price to the more than 160,000 US workers who transform and process the metal to the requirements of both their domestic and export markets, contributing hundreds of billions of dollars to the US economy.
